The BBC’s trial phase of the Creative Archive licence has now drawn to a close. Over the last year the BBC has released nearly 500 clips, full programmes, audio tracks and images for the public to use and enjoy under the terms of the Creative Archive Licence.

The BBC’s Creative Archive pilot has come to a dramatic climax with the launch of a host of unseen, unique clips from the early days of television.

The Creative Archive Licence Group is pleased to announce that ITN Source (formerly ITN Archive Ltd) has joined the partnership and plans to share some of its library content under the Creative Archive scheme.
