Teachers’ TV to podcast programmes

Creative Archive Licence Group Member Teachers’ TV has today announced its latest digital platform for programming - podcast.

Initially only Teachers’ TV news programmes will be pod-cast but the channel plan to make more of their programmes available to view via Apple’s video iPods soon. Commenting, Martin Trickey, Head of Interactive for Teachers' TV said: “We are delighted to be unveiling this new digital platform which will enable our audience to watch Teachers’ TV programmes whenever and wherever most convenient. Teachers’ TV is constantly innovating to utilise the latest digital technology and provide the greatest range of formats through which content can be viewed and used.”

Already nearly 700 Teachers’ TV programmes have been made available for viewing or download under the terms of the Creative Archive Licence via their website. Around 80,000 of their programmes are viewed on the site every month.
